Tours provided by the park traverse around sights dotting the Maruyama River and the connecting Meshitani River, including a torii gate where visitors can pray from their boats.
The Hyogo Prefectural Maruyamagawa Park is also the only facility nearby to supply Canadian canoes in addition to kayaks and paddleboards.
During the summer, guests can cool off in the park’s 50-meter swimming pool.
In the winter, the pool is iced over to create a large iceskating rink with the scenic Maruyama River as its backdrop.
From April to November, a separate in-line skating rink is also available to use.
A chic art museum is located inside the Park’s main building, housing regularly changing exhibitions with a strong focus on local artists.
