Rent a bicycle or an electric one from either SOZORO Tourist Information Center or the Kinosaki Onsen Ryokan Service Center near Kinosaki Onsen Station, and let's kick off our journey!

Begin your adventure from Kinosaki Onsen Station, crossing the Maruyama River to the opposite bank.

Along the way, you might catch sight of the endangered Oriental White Stork, a national treasure found in Kinosaki Onsen and the surrounding areas.

Pedal alongside these majestic creatures for approximately 18 minutes until you reach the Genbudo Museum & Café.

Here, take a break while savoring the cool breeze from the Maruyama River with a cup of coffee and a local Tajima beef burger.

Right beside the café lies Genbudo Park, a part of the San’in Kaigan UNESCO Global Geopark.
You can experience the mysteries of nature created by stones, volcanic activity, and time.
Take your time to read the history of the Genbudo Caves and admire the magnificent columnar joints formed from volcanic eruptions.
In spring, there is a variety of greenery here, but when autumn comes, every leaf will be tinged with orange and red.
Hachigoro Toshima Wetlands

Charged with energy from this natural power spot, hop on your bike and head to the home of Hachigoro, a wild Oriental White Stork.
At Hachigoro Toshima Wetlands, you can observe these gorgeous birds building nests, raising their young, and fluffing up their feathers with on-site telescopes.

A few steps from the wetland, you need to find the narrow path very carefully, or you might overlook a photogenic scene.
