Centrally located and perfect for walking around to all the public outdoor hot springs. The inn is everything but fancy, an old fashioned 3 story wooden building with only the basic of facilities. We are known as the oldest looking inn with a bit of a retro fragrance. Even so, half of the travelers to our inn have become regular guests and thanks to them our simple little inn has thrived.
Our main selling point is our cuisine. Especially our individually prepared rich meals that use freshly caught seafood from the local market. Each meal's quality and quantity are sure to satisfy any guest.
Also, we treat our guests like family. Giving them the feeling like they are staying over at their favorite grandmother's house in the country. In fact the majority of our staff are grandmothers and mothers from the area. Our simplicity may not be ideal for some, but we encourage anyone to give us a try. Who knows, you might fall in love with our simple little inn.
This is our famous dish, "Kani Kamakura." It is made by covering a whole snow crab with special salt and then grilling it over an open flame for about an hour. It is truly a masterpiece.
With an abundance of local ingredients, your heart and stomach will be fully satisfied! Enjoy our signature dish, "Salt-grilled Crab," as well as the main highlight of the meal, the teppanyaki-style pure Tajima beef. Indulge in a gourmet journey like no other!
What is "Kani Kamakura"?
It is a specialty dish where a whole snow crab is wrapped in a special salt and slowly baked in the oven for an hour. You can use the wooden hammer provided to crack open the salty crust and enjoy the exquisite flavors. It's truly a masterpiece!
What is "Pure Tajima Beef"?
Pure Tajima beef is born and raised in the local Tajima region and can only be savroed here. It differs from other Japanese wagyu beef in that it has fine muscle fibers, making it highly marbled and boasting a melt-in-your-mouth texture. We strive to use this exceptional beef in our dishes as much as possible.

The main building of Yanagi-sou offers Japanese-style rooms with shared bathrooms and toilets. Bekkan Kashan features Japanese-style rooms with washlet toilets, while Shinbekkan Tsuruki offers pure Japanese-style rooms with private bathrooms and washlet toilets. Please make yourself comfortable and unwind during your stay.

■ Parking ■
From 15:00 to 10:00 the next day, parking fees are 1,000 yen per regular-sized car (additional charges apply for other types of vehicles). Additional fees may apply for parking outside of these hours.

When you break the "Kani Kamakura" (Salt-grilled Crab), using a wooden mallet, you will crack open the salt portion and inside, you will find the crab. It is seasoned with just the right amount of salt, so you can enjoy it as it is. Please be careful not to burn yourself, as it will be hot and tender!

Introducing our new menu item, (Grilled Giant Shrimp teppanyaki). We will cook it right in front of you and serve it piping hot. Please enjoy it by eating the whole shrimp, including the shell, while it's still hot and delicious!

It is Tajima beef teppanyaki. We will provide salt, pepper, lemon, and a special miso sauce for you to enjoy according to your preference! The ideal cooking level for Tajima beef is medium-rare, which will result in a tender and delicious texture.

■ For children aged 7-12 (1 night, 2 meals) [100% of the adult rate], dinner and breakfast will have the same menu as adults. Additionally, we will provide bedding, a hot spring tour bathing ticket, one bath towel, one towel, a toothbrush set, and a complete yukata set.
■ Children aged 3-6 with meals and bedding:**
○ For children aged 3-6 with meals and bedding (1 night, 2 meals) [70% or 100% of the adult rate, depending on the facility and plan (some facilities/plans may not accept this option, resulting in 70% or 100%)], the dinner will be a children's set meal. We will also provide bedding, a hot spring tour bathing ticket, one bath towel, one towel, a toothbrush set, and a complete yukata set.
○For children aged 3-6 with no meals but with bedding (stay only) [30% or 100% of the adult rate, depending on the facility and plan (some facilities/plans may not accept this option, resulting in 30% or 100%)], no meals will be included for dinner and breakfast. We will provide bedding, a hot spring tour bathing ticket, one bath towel, one towel, a toothbrush set, and a complete yukata set, as well as chopsticks and tableware.
○For children aged 3-6 with no meals and no bedding, this option is available only at Yanagi-so Honkan and Shinbe-kan Tsuruki for an additional fee. No meals will be included for dinner and breakfast. We will provide a hot spring tour bathing ticket, one bath towel, one towel, a toothbrush set, a complete yukata set, as well as chopsticks and tableware.

* Check-in time is 3:00 PM. We appreciate your arrival by 6:00 PM. If you plan to check in after 5:00 PM, please inform us in advance.
* Outside drinks (juice, soda, alcohol) and outside food are not allowed. However, if it is for a celebration or special occasion, we may make special exceptions. Additional charges may apply, so please inquire before bringing any outside food or drinks.

This is a tax levied on bathing guests. It is a special purpose tax to cover the expenses required for tourism promotion; protect and manage facilities for mineral spring sources and firefighting facilities. The mineral spring bathhouse owner becomes responsible to collects it from the bathing guests.
