Google reviews of waraku

Craving crab, I headed to Kannabe Plateau. I used to visit there often, but the roads have been improved since then, and I arrived from my home in Neyagawa in about 2 hours and 20 minutes without a break. It was well worth the trip. I don't know of any other restaurant in Osaka that offers a 10-course meal of this quality for this price. Once it starts snowing, you'll need snow tires, so I recommend visiting by mid-December to combine it with a stroll to see the autumn leaves. On the other hand, snowboarders can enjoy both winter sports and cuisine from this time of year.

My Review
[Food & Taste]
This luxurious course featured a full crab course, two wagyu beef dishes, and seasonal local Tajima ingredients. The crab sashimi, of course, and the grilled crab and grilled crab shell dishes in particular were exquisite, packed with flavor and umami. The crab hot pot broth was exquisite, and the rice porridge at the end was truly impressive. The two wagyu beef dishes were as delicious as those served at a high-end yakiniku restaurant, adding a nice accent to the crab dishes without overpowering them. The menu is all about crab, yet never boring.

[Restaurant Atmosphere]
A quiet mountain lodge surrounded by the nature of the Kannabe Plateau. The entrance is elegant, and the interior is a Japanese-style space with a warm wooden ambiance, offering a relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere. The spacious restaurant offers private rooms and tatami rooms, making it perfect for families and anniversaries. The tasteful decorations exude elegance throughout the restaurant. It seems to get quite busy during the day with customers coming for the soba noodles.

[Service]
The staff, led by the young proprietress, are polite and friendly. Reservations were handled smoothly, and the explanations of the dishes were thorough. There may be a slight wait during busy lunch hours, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. Reservations are especially essential for the crab course.

[Access]
It's about a 30-minute drive from the nearest Yoka Interchange. While car access is preferred, there is free parking available, and large buses can also park. Please note that snow tires and chains may be required in winter.

[Price/Value for Money]
For all this, the price of 15,400 yen (excluding tax) is very reasonable. The quality, quantity, and cooking method of the crab all leave you feeling satisfied, making this a restaurant you'll want to return to. I was able to fill my stomach, so this season is enough, but I'm sure I'll miss it again come the end of summer next season. This restaurant is worth the trip, even if you're traveling from the Keihanshin area.
