ACCOMMODATIONS Kinosaki Onsen Hanakouji Saigetsu

Amazing! Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, just a 10 all around. And they give you a Yukata to where, which most folks do. Highly recommend it, a very nice stay!

Incredibly helpful and friendly like most locals. Less than 5mins away from the train station. Across the hotel, there is a restaurant on the 2nd floor that serves really good sashimi and sushi, ground floor sells fresh produce. They also teach us how to wear Yukata.

Unfortunately 2 stars deducted, because the blinds are quite redundant as the lights gets through easily. I was there during end May, it gets bright as early as 430am, by 530am, it is already full on day light. If U are someone who is sensitive to light during sleep, will not recommend.

Pillows are also small, half of the usual pillows size, 2 different textures but both are firm and hard. I ended up using my clothes to stack up as a pillow support.

Everything about this accommodation was incredible!!! The whole experience was exceptional!!! Our stay just got better and better from the outstanding service to our dinner & breakfast, our room was beautiful!
Our only regret was that we should have booked another few days.

This place was amazing! Everything was clean, organised and quiet. It is also located incredibly close to the train station - a massive advantage!

The best takeaway from my experience was the service. The innkeeper is incredibly friendly and kind, and so are all the staff that tended to us.

They will offer you a pass to use all the onsens during your stay, with towels and your choice of yukata and a bag to wear out. You may use the umbrellas and return them when rainy (learned this too late!) and will offer usage of the private onsen each day. It is very hot, but really relaxing and runs quite late!

Overall an amazing experience - big shout out to the staff for making our stay in Kinosaki perfect! I would happily come back.

A wonderful experience, even though I do not speak Japanese. The employees were very accommodating and all of the amenities both inside the hotel/ryokan and outside the city made the stay very memorable. I highly recommend those that want a Japanese-cultured experience. 5 stars :)

We had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean and the room very spacious. The hotel staff was so kind and helpful. The yukatas offered were colorful with lovely designs and the staff member took the time to show me how to put it on since it was my first time wearing one. Also you are provided with a delicious welcome drink as well as a pass to the baths and 40 minutes in a private bath. I would say it is a great bang for your buck.

Nice and clean ryokan! It was a short walk from the JR station to the ryokan. They gave us a bathhouse pass which allows access to the 7 bathhouses in this onsen town, we were able to explore the bathhouses easily. They also provided yukata during the stay. There is a photo studio at level 3 that is complimentary during your stay, just have to book your timing in advance :) enjoyed our stay very much, thanks to the lovely hosts who communicated with us using google translate!

Absolutely fantastic stay with the most welcoming and hospitable staff.

Location is perfect, just a hop skip from the station and easy walk to the river.

Room, amenities, private onsen, beautiful selection of yukatas to pick from, ryokan in itself - 10 out of 10!

Not sure if it's publicly advertised but theres was a private photo room in the ryokan (found out about it on their website prior to trip. You're welcome!) and it's just a fun extra added perk to staying here!

Last bit certainly not least - the staff! They go above and beyond to ensure you have the absolute best time. Their kindness and warm energy was felt with every encounter and I can't suggest this place enough for your stay! Loved it and was sad to leave.
