Trek through freshly fallen snow and take in the sights of the Kannabe mountains.

With the coming of winter comes freshly fallen snow. For those who want to play in the snow but snowboarding and skiing are just a little too difficult for them, there is snowshoeing. Fun and easy for all ages from kids to adults and a great way to enjoy the outdoors at a leisurely pace.
Guided tours are available by reservation only. Each tour is about 2.5 hours. Tour groups up to 20 people, there is no age requirement or limit. Tours include a professional guide, snowshoe rental, insurance, snacks, and a hot drink for 3,500yen (2,000yen for elementary age and younger, children under 2 years old are free.)

What do bring:  Warm hat, back-pack, water-proof jacket, water proof pants, gloves, water proof shoes, towel, plastic bag, drink, tissue, and warm clothes. 

Don’t have gear? Don’t worry, you can rent the following for a special price:
-Water proof jacket (available sizes: kids 120cm and 140cm; adult S(155-165cm), M(165-175cm), L(170-180cm)
-Snow Gloves (available sizes: For kids ages 7-9 and 10-12, adult sizes M and L)
-Water proof pants (available sizes: kids 120cm and 140cm, adult S(155-165cm), M(165-175cm), L(170-180cm)
-Shoe Gaiters (covers)
*Sizes are based on height, each item can be rented for 300yen each. If you wish to rent, please notify staff of your gender, height in centimeters, and what you would like to rent when you register.
